New face and renewed features give Microsoft on Outlook.com in the coming weeks.
The renewed version of Outlook.com was introduced last August, but it is now starting to be available to all users of the service. The new design will concern all Outlook users, with emphasis on both the integration of the calendar and the introduction and management of contacts. Improved is also the introduction of Skype and its features into the Outlook e-mail management field.
As a first step, most of the new Outlook.com services will be released to the public, but many of the new features will remain in beta version, until they are fully implemented through the appropriate updates. New feature, such as those in the calendar and other items, is that it will be able to return the user to an earlier version. By the time these lines were written, Microsoft had not given more details about the timetable that will follow when all the updates for the new services will become available.
To see the new services, Microsoft does not ask Outlook.com users to have a beta option enabled in their account.
