© Shutterstock Google Chrome: Brings the possibility to permanently mute web pages soon
The most popular web browsers of our time offer, for some time now, the ability to silence some tabs, something safer if you are getting used to opening multiple websites at once and then looking to find out where the sound comes from.
Google Chrome, however, will go through the process of mute a step further in one of its next versions.
As the Android Police website says, Google is testing the ability to permanently mute web pages directly from the “Page Info” menu, so that each time you open that site is mute.
This feature is currently available in the current Canary version of the web browser, so it’s a matter of weeks to integrate the feature into the final version for all users.
