After the iOS 11 operating system leaked, it seems that little about the features of the iPhone X have been “hidden”, so that to be revealed in a few hours during the official presentation.

As we already know, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will have a design that is similar to the existing iPhone 7 and 7 Plus while the devices will incorporate faster processors, wireless charging capability and a new glass lining on the back.

Instead, the iPhone X will incorporate an entirely new design with an edge-to-edge 5.8 inch diagonal screen and OLED technology. The new screen and minimized screen margins mean practically that Apple will present an iPhone that will -for the first time- escape the design norms that had been established with the first iPhone, ten years ago.

Inside the new device will be the new A11 SoC, which will consist of six cores. The four cores will be high-performance, called Mistral, while the other two will be low-performance and will be called Monsson. By comparison, the A10 of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus consists of two high-performance and two low-performance cores. On the memory level, the iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus will have a 3GB RAM and the iPhone 8 will have a 2GB RAM.

Regarding the leakage of the operating system, which in turn allowed to extract all of the above items in recent days, the BBC spoke with an anonymous source inside Apple, which confirmed that the leak was made from inside the company recipients of the 9to5Mac and MacRumours websites.

Indeed -according to the BBC- leakage was not due to an error, but it was a deliberate action to provide this information.

“Whoever did this is the most disliking person in Cupertino (Apple’s headquarters) at the moment”,

mentioned characteristically.
