Your iPhone frequently running out of battery is nothing new. Over time, the battery won’t have the endurance it once had, and regular use will mean you’ll be asked if you want to turn on “low power mode” at 20% much more often than before. To preserve its precious battery life, you can try to do your work without being on the phone all the time. But this is not always easy.
However, iPhone users who want to make their phone’s battery last longer throughout the day might want to look into the “settings”.
If you have the iPhone 12 or newer model that has “5G”, then there is something you can do about it:
Go to your phone settings and go to mobile data options. You should have an option to decide how your phone uses “5G”. You will be presented with three options: There is “5G Auto”, “5G On” and something called “LTE” which stands for “Long Term Evolution”. If your phone is set to “5G On” then you’ll want to consider switching to one of the other options; this will save your phone valuable battery life.
There are many other things you can do on your phone to try and save battery life. In addition to “Bluetooth”, there’s also turning off your phone’s ” background app refresh settings”,
Disabling “location services”, “Siri”, and dimming your iPhone is all you can do for battery life.
Take it seriously and you will extend its life. And your pocket’s, of course.
