A video that refers to a short film has been posted by the Greek Police in its social media accounts, highlighting the dangers that the Internet “hides” for young people.

The 10-minutes and 35-seconds video shows teenagers chatting with their alleged peers on the Internet and two stories unfold:

The first one is a boy, drifted by an alleged girl he likes, and who asks him to take his clothes off first in front of his computer’s camera. In the next message, he tells him that she has recorded him in a video and that if he does not send her 100 euros she will send it to his friends.

In the other case, a girl pressed and embarrassed, drifted by a supposed young man asking her for photographs to make her professional photoshooting. He tells her how beautiful she is and he asks her more and more. The girl sends him a photo of her, only with her bra, and blackmail begins: If she does not send him naked photos, her underwear photo will be released all over her school…

As the police video says, it’s a well-established network, with people working and robbing money out of the victims by blackmailing them.
