In fact, after a long preparation, the personal assistant – a robot called Olly, whose construction has been contributed by a Greek scientist – is a reality.
Olly is the most awarded product in the history of the Consumer Electronics Show and is already receiving positive reviews from the press. In the development of the project contributed the Artificial Intelligence researcher at Imperial College London, Zafiris Fountas, who is working on the emerging Emotech company, who conceived the idea and construction of Olly.
The interesting in Olly is that she is the first personal assistant (and robot) with her own personality, having the ability to be educated by the users and learn their habits, even taking initiatives to serve them.

The personal robot-assistant has launched pre-sales this month via the indiegogo platform and is available for pre-sales for six more days. The project has already achieved its goal through crowdfunding, as it has raised $234,000 against the $100,000 target.
Note that Zafiris Fountas has contributed to the design of Olly’s “brain”. So far Olly is available only in English, but many other languages will be added in the near future.
