Microsoft believes that Windows 10 operating system software is compliant with competition law and is willing to answer any regulatory inquiries, the company’s press office told the Russian agency Ria Novosti.
“Microsoft’s main goal is to protect our customers, and we are convinced that Windows 10 security software is compliant with competition law, and we are ready to answer any regulatory questions,”
said Microsoft’s spokesman.
Earlier today, the Russian company Kaspersky Lab had announced that it had filed a lawsuit against Microsoft with the European Commission and the Federal Commission of the Federal Cartel Office (FCA), which it blames for unfair competition .
The European Commission has confirmed Kaspersky Lab’s appeal.
