After the many negative comments of people who have come to “love” the “Paint” graphics program, Microsoft finally decided not to “kill” it. In a recent update made by the company, it was reported that “Paint” would be one of the Windows features that would be removed or would no longer have support for it, the British BBC News Network reported.
“Paint”, which became very popular due to its simplicity, has been part of Microsoft’s operating system since 1985. The company has suggested that the program will not remain in Windows 10 by default, but will be available free of charge through the online store, “Windows Store”.
Its successor, “Paint 3D”, will be available as part of the Windows 10 package. From yesterday, July 24, when the program was announced, there were plenty of comments from social media users who said they were dissatisfied with this move of the company.
“One thing we have learned is that after 32 years, “MS Paint” has many fans,”
the company said in a statement.
“It is amazing to see that there is so much love for our old, good application.”
As the BBC says, there were no negative comments about any other program removal the company plans to do. Among them, “Outlook Express”, which will be replaced by “Mail”.
