Changes are being prepared by Microsoft for all Office 365 users with the emphasis on getting the most comfortable user experience.
According to Windows Central, the updated Office 365 will feature simplified commands, improved search experience, and the ability to use new icons and charts in all Office applications. The central ribbon on which all the commands are located will have a refined design, and each user will be able to change it according to their preferences and needs. Initially, the new ribbon will be available in Outlook from July 2018 and later is expected to go into other Office 365 applications.
The new icons will aim to give a more modern aesthetic look to all the documents and files you create with Office 365, initially appearing in the online version of Word and later going to other suite applications. Microsoft wants to focus on searching, based on Microsoft Graph and results suggestions, whenever someone starts writing something in the search field. From August onward, the changes to the lookup field will appear in Outlook.
