Google Bulletin is a tool for creating news at a very local level, which has just been launched.

Google Bulletin has begun to be available in two markets, in Oakland, California, and Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Through the login page in the service, one can upload small local news that may be of interest to small communities who now have the ability to use a simple smartphone to inform other local community members about everything they care about. This tool may be useful for those who want to quickly upload news in progress.

At this stage, Google’s tool is at an experimental level, at service and application level for smartphones, and within Bulletin one can find the guidelines that Google places to use its application. The interface of the application resembles a social network, but through it one can upload text, photos, video clips in the form of news and always according to Google’s general principles.

Google wants to see the uses they choose to make in the Bulletin members of local communities in order to draw their conclusions.
