The new renewed version of its Android OS for mobile devices was launched yesterday by Google, which is called Oreo – like the known cookies.

As reported by the British BBC News Network, Google’s Nexus and Pixel devices are expected to be the first to receive the operating system update.

Among the new features is “Smart Copy and Paste”, which highlights the entire address, a phone number or the address of a web page when the user tries to copy them.

In addition, the new OS will contain a new, redesigned set of emojis, which reminds a lot of what’s available in Apple’s operating iOS.

Also, as the AMP transmits, the new Instant Apps feature allows certain services to “invoke” parts of their Android apps, even when users have not installed them.

The new version of Google’s operating system is not expected to be available to the general public soon, with only 14% of Android devices incorporating the former OS, Nougat.

Finally, it is up to manufacturers of portable devices to decide whether to make the new operating system available to their existing devices and to integrate it into the upcoming ones.
