The next Apple Watch is estimated to be able to make phone calls, according to Bloomberg.
Information cited by Bloomberg and reported by Reuters highlight Apple’s launch of new Apple Watch models with LTE chips to be able to connect to the mobile Internet but also make calls without having to connect to an iPhone, for tasks such as sending messages, receiving geographic information, or streaming music.
The information wants Apple to be in talks with various telecom operators in the US and Europe to launch the Apple Watch version that can connect itself to LTE networks. The LTE modems of the upcoming Apple Watch will be Intel-based, according to rumors that neither Intel nor Apple confirms so far, as expected.
The information places Apple Watch’s potential presentation with the ability to connect to LTE networks in September, and it can not be clarified at this stage whether there will be two versions of Apple Watch with and without LTE connectivity. In any case, however, Apple Watch is expected to be available in special programs from providers with free data usage packages
