Microsoft integrates LinkedIn into Office 365

Microsoft has decided to integrate LinkedIn -which it has bought for $26.2 billion- into Office 365.

It is a fact that Microsoft was late in taking advantage of the fact that it had made the acquisition of LinkedIn and that is the first move it does, and it is expected to continue its steps in this direction. LinkedIn to Office 365 is done through profile cards.

In fact, the professional contacts of Office 365 users can be enriched with the information from the corresponding profile on LinkedIn. You will not need to visit someone’s profile on LinkedIn as all the information will be displayed by the corresponding contacts application in Office 365.

It is obvious that Microsoft will not only confine to these moves to make users fewer clicks. Gradually, more and more data will be added to the capabilities of Office 365 with LinkedIn, such as creating a clientele or making it easier to search for a job, as LinkedIn can connect with other Microsoft applications such as CRM Dynamics 365.
