Google Lens is one of the company’s most underrated tools, but it has a number of interesting and useful features.

Read on to discover a few:

Point the camera to ask a question

You can point the camera to ask a question about whatever you see in front of you. Just tap the “capture button” and type your question in the “search field.”

Copy text from an image

Instead of manually copying text from an image, simply upload the photo to “Google Lens” and click “Copy text.” This will copy the text in the image, even handwriting, to your clipboard.

Learn more about products

If you want to buy something you saw in a photo but don’t know where to find it, it can be helpful to upload the product image to “Lens” for more information. There, you can find prices, where to buy it, as well as reviews of the item.
