Ernst & Young (EY) announced the launch of the partnership with Microsoft, aiming to promote the new Workplace Insights solution, which aims to improve business productivity.

“Workplace Insights” combines Microsoft’s Workplace Analytics platform with the expertise of consulting and data analytics to help businesses make informed business decisions that can improve their performance.

According to the announcement, the platform analyzes data from a company’s existing communications and collaboration media, integrates and combines data from other systems to capture how teams use their time, collaborate and interact, both internally and externally (such as with suppliers or customers).

EY interprets the results and converts them into useful conclusions that businesses can use to support the implementation of their strategic and operational priorities. This capability can be implemented and exploited in a wide range of business scenarios.

The “Workplace Insights” application is supported internationally by more than 10,000 human resources consultants in the European Union. The application can be integrated with Microsoft’s Organization Talent Hub (OTH), a tool based on the Microsoft Azure platform. OTH transfers business data to a secure environment, providing access to critical statistics.

Commenting on the new partnership between Microsoft and Microsoft, Leonidas Kovaios, partner of the Consulting Services Department of the Hellenic Republic, pointed out:

“Workplace Insights responds to two major challenges for modern businesses: understanding the huge amount of information that businesses have at their disposal through data analytics and making the most of their human potential through improved performance, collaboration, but and the degree of employee satisfaction”.

“This application, developed jointly by Microsoft and Microsoft, also gives Greek companies the opportunity to ensure that their people are able to make the most of their skills and increase their work satisfaction”.
