Apple chooses Google’s search engine against Microsoft for its iOS and MacOS devices.

At the same time, Siri will no longer cooperate with Microsoft’s Bing search engine, according to Apple. Google is the main mechanism for online searches on Apple devices. Apple’s move, according to TechCrunch, was designed to eliminate problems and confusions, as the default search engine for Safari browser was Google’s, for both MacOS and iOS. Apple wants to have a common view of the same results regardless of what device one uses to search the Web.

According to Slashgear, Apple’s move is related to the alleged $3 billion deal between Google and Apple, so the latter will only use the first’s search engine on its devices. Although the owners of an Apple device can not compare in numbers with those who own an Android smartphone, the use of Google’s search engine for their part is still a source of profit for Google.

The change has already begun and is believed to be one of the main features of the upcoming MacOS High Sierra.
