Internet information indicates that iPhone 8 is expected to replace the home button with a new way of interacting with the device.
According to the rumors, instead of the central button, the iPhone 8 will have larger margins available to accommodate a larger screen, at the bottom of which the so-called software dock will be displayed.
This will be a framework that one can add in its shortcuts to applications it wants to launch. Apple’s goal is to have the widest possible screen surface available, and through a range of gestures, it will be possible to handle the individual features of the iPhone 8, according to Bloomberg.
The dimensions of the iPhone 8 are estimated to be similar to those of the iPhone 7, while there will be a revamped processor with a 10 nm architecture, according to the GSM Arena.
Otherwise, the iPhone, which will be released on September 12, will have – according to most sources – a 5.5-inch OLED screen and a 3D face recognition feature on its front camera. Its operating system will be iOS 11. The camera at the rear will be a dual lens, with improvements to the side keys.
