TeamViewer®, a leading global provider of secure remote connection solutions, today announces the integration of the enhanced “TeamViewer Meeting” application for one-click meetings directly from the existing “TeamViewer” application.

The “TeamViewer Meeting” application, recently renamed from “blizz” and now visibly part of the “TeamViewer” product family, is added free of charge to all “TeamViewer” customers, offering all the benefits of a modern conference call and online meeting to “TeamViewer” users, while providing the highest safety standards, as stated in the relevant announcement.

“Due to the global need for reliable, secure digital communications and online meeting capabilities, we are committed to providing each “TeamViewer” user with an easy-to-use meeting solution.”

says Christoph Schneider, Product Management Manager of  “TeamViewer”.

“There is a growing demand for user-to-user encrypted and screen-sharing solutions following the strict data protection and privacy regulation within the European Union.”

The built-in “TeamViewer Meeting” app is fully compatible and allows encrypted “VoIP”, “iOS”, or “Android” meetings on mobile devices; something that is now possible for all “TeamViewer” users. Additional features include: face-to-face meetings directly from the contact list, HD quality video, 4k multi-screen screen sharing, Outlook integration, meeting logging and lockable meeting, and password protection to further increase privacy; for subscribers, “TeamViewer Meeting” also offers phone numbers that can be turned on or off by the host.

“The integration of “TeamViewer meeting” into the “TeamViewer” client is consistent with our goal of providing horizontal connectivity solutions to digitize processes in the workplace and to allow endless use that can be addressed with a common, secure technology platform for companies of all sizes across the world.”

explains Christoph Schneider.

The new application is accessible directly to the “TeamViewer” customer without further installation for all non-commercial “TeamViewer” users, as well as for customers who pay for all subscription plans (remote access subscriptions will soon follow). For non-commercial users, participants will be limited to five, while paying customers will be able to host meetings with up to ten participants. Optional packages allow users to expand the size of meetings to 50, 100, or 300 attendees. For better compatibility with the stand-alone customer, we recommend updating 15.13.
