Facebook has presented a new tool that allows easier file transfer from the user’s profile to Google Photos.
This tool is named ”Facebook-to-Google-Photos” and has already started to be available to the Irish users of Facebook.
In 2020 it will become available worldwide, according to what the social network itself has announced. With the help of this tool will be really very easy and simple for all Facebook users so they can transfer pictures and videos from their profile to ”Google Photos”, which is integrated in all Android smartphones.
Gradually, Facebook promises to interface profiles with services other than “Google Photos”. This initiative from Facebook is part of the “Data Transfer Project”, which aims to create a common template for organizing information in order to easily transfer data from one platform to another, no problems and no unnecessary moves requiring specialized knowledge.
The “Data Transfer Project” started in 2017 and since July 2018 has been fleshed out with the help of sound representatives of the technological world, such as Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter and Apple.
The “Data Transfer Project” implements the easy transfer of information using three central routes, which all those involved in it take into account.
According to the announcements of the participants in this information, we expect to see other interesting synergies between the online services in the near future, starting from the first half of 2020.
This tool can be found by Facebook users in the “Settings” of their profile in the “Information” field.
